Autumnfest

The Bandstand Looking for something to do over the Columbus Day Weekend? Check out Woonsocket's annual Autumnfest celebration.

Autumnfest began in 1977 as an opportunity for residents and non-residents alike to enjoy the spirt of Woonsocket. Held at the World War II Veteran's Memorial State Park, the success of that first Autumnfest celebration became the model for subsequent events. Autumnfest features: View of the Autumnfest Midway

  • A food court with lots of local favorites.
  • Midway rides for the kids.
  • Arts and crafts booths.
  • Great entertainment at the Band Stand.
  • Spectacular fireworks.

Autumnfest Parade The highlight of the weekend is always the Autumnfest parade which proceeds down Diamond Hill Road and Social Street to the World War II Veteran's Memorial State Park.
